The Gower Triathlon Olympic distance event takes place on Saturday 1st October 2011, at the stunning location of Port Eynon, on the Gower, on the South Coast of Wales. Port Eynon is a picturesque beach with a wide expanse of golden sand and rock pools to explore at low tide. The beach is located on the Gower, Britain's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is within easy access to car parking, cafes, restaurants and village shops
